Johnny and Nina first met unknowingly at a cmu hcii party to get the new graduate students meet each other + the phd students. The 2 actually didn't meet each other in this event though were so close as documented in these photos where they were both in unknowingly!

Johnny was busy getting a glass lipton ice tea bottle to float with helium balloons.
And it flies!
and nina leaves without having met johnny who was at the same event that fateful day...
That balloon sticking out from the car is actually attached to chocolate!
